This past March was our first year for the Broken Clay Spring Kickoff Shoot. It was incredible weather and we had a great group of shooters. The morning started out crisp and clear and as the day progressed it became very comfortable. The shooting was amazing the course was top notch. After a great lunch provided by Seven Springs Catering we went to the cards to see who ended up the Top Shooter for the 1st annual Broken Clay. Colleen took the trophy and prize money. She clearly was the best shooter that day! After, the awards the group joked and compared shots. Then the door prizes and raffles were drawn. Followed by the dessert trays. Overall, a great time and the Seven Springs Shooting Academy facility was fantastic. As fall briskly comes in it has made me put together the plans for next springs shoot. The date will be March 25th 2012. Look foward to everyone making it and hoping for great weather again!
